Men’s Basketball to Debut in New Arena Dec. 3

MAAC Hoops Schedules Announced: a total of 27 ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ men's and women's basketball games will be played on campus this season.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced the men’s and women’s basketball schedules for the upcoming 2022-23 season, completing the slates for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Basketball. The Stags will play a total of 27 games in the new on-campus Arena this season.

¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Women’s Basketball will tip off the conference schedule at Saint Peter’s on Saturday, Dec. 17 before hosting Iona for the first MAAC home game on Monday, Dec. 19. The defending MAAC Champion Stags will make their first appearance at the new Arena during the non-conference portion of the ledger, hosting Stonehill in the inaugural game on Friday, Nov. 18 and national power Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 20.

The MAAC home opener will also be the debut for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Men’s Basketball in the new on-campus Arena. The Stags will host reigning conference champion and 2022 Elite Eight squad Saint Peter’s on Saturday, Dec. 3. That clash with the Peacocks kicks off an eight-game homestand at the Arena, with ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ also welcoming non-conference foes Sacred Heart, Yale, Coast Guard and Drexel before resuming the MAAC schedule at home against Marist, Siena and Niagara.
