Twelve Stags Collect All-MAAC Honors
Graduate student Sandra Bozinovic and senior Kaya Gore '22 swept the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year awards to head a list of 12 Stags earning All-MAAC honors. Both Bozinovic and Gore were unanimous selections and also earned First Team All-MAAC laurels in singles and doubles.
Bozinovic is in her first season at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ as a graduate transfer from Florida International University. She went undefeated in MAAC action as the Stags’ #1 singles player and also earned All-MAAC First Team doubles honors playing in the #3 spot alongside Laina Campos '23.
Also collecting All-MAAC singles honors were Katarina Plumtree '24, Paulina Bakaite '22, Aina March '22, and Sophia Prinos '22. In addition, Plumtree and Amanda Nowak '22 combined for a First Team All-MAAC distinction at #2 doubles.
For ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Men’s Tennis, Gore joins Joe Michalisin ’12 as the only back-to-back MAAC Players of the Year in program history. Gore is a senior from Turkey; he began his collegiate career at Miami, and was also an All-MAAC First Team pick at #1 singles and pairing with Will O’Brien '25 at #2 doubles.
Filling out the Stags’ roster of honorees was Sam Hodges '25 as a Second Team selection at #4 singles and the First Team #3 doubles pair of Andrew Immink '25 and graduate student Charlie Morkel.
