The ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Virtual Celebration, Dec. 21

Bellarmine Hall

The 32nd annual ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner, a gala to celebrate the University’s dedication to the Ignatian mission of service through education, will take place online this year. Free access with advanced registration will be available to all.

The University's originally scheduled ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards event was postponed in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and it will now take place online on Monday, December 21 at 7 p.m.

"We decided to take the awards presentation virtual because we just didn’t want to wait any longer to salute our deserving honorees," said Anissa DeMatteo '90, director of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner.  "They are beacons of what it means to be men and women for others."

Attendees can expect an engaging program of tributes to the award recipients, as well as special thanks to ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ's many donors for their support of the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship and other critical scholarships at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ.

"The ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner has been a treasured tradition for over 30 years," DeMatteo continued. "A virtual celebration gives us the unique opportunity to share the event with an even larger audience."

Since 1988, donors to the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner have contributed more than $19 million in scholarship funds to help students realize their full potential through a ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ education, regardless of economic or social barriers. ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s flagship fundraising event for scholarship that celebrates inclusive excellence, the Awards Dinner also honors the achievements and volunteer service of alumni, parents, faculty, and staff.
