¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Softball was one of 12 teams with a perfect 100 percent GSR in the latest cohort.

¼â½ÐÊÓƵ student-athletes post a Graduation Success Rate of 96 percent.

¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University student-athletes achieved one of the highest graduation rates in the nation as the NCAA announced its annual Graduation Success Rates (GSR). The Stags achieved a 96 percent GSR for a four-year cohort of student-athletes entering between 2010-13.

¼â½ÐÊÓƵ was one of 42 Division I schools to have a 96 percent GSR or higher among first-years who attended school from 2010-13, and owned the third highest GSR in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference behind Manhattan's GSR of 98 percent and Canisius's 97 percent.

"Once again, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ student-athletes achieved one of the highest GSR scores in the country, a true testament to their commitment to academic excellence," Director of Athletics Paul Schlickmann said. "This score also reflects the University's dedication to the educational experience of our student athletes. This achievement would not be possible without the efforts of our coaches and staff who continue to encourage success both in the classroom and in competition."

Twelve sports at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University achieved a 100 percent graduation rate based on the current information, namely women's cross country, field hockey, men's golf, women's golf, women's lacrosse, women's rowing, women's soccer, men's swimming and diving, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, and volleyball.

The NCAA began compiling data with the entering freshman class of 1995 and developed the GSR in order to more accurately assess the academic success of student-athletes. The GSR includes transfer students and other student-athletes who leave their institution in good academic standing. The GSR measures graduation over six years from initial college enrollment.
