The ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Road Races began with the Half Marathon in 1981 with only 200 runners, and has grown into one of the premier running events in the U.S. Currently, the Half Marathon and the 5K feature more than 6,000 runners annually with participants coming from across the country and abroad. A two-time host of the U.S. Women’s National Half Marathon Championship, and three-time host of the National Masters’ Half Marathon Championship, the race has routinely been hailed as one of the nation’s top road races by Runner’s World magazine.
