Registration is Now Open for the Class of 2022 First-Year Academic Gathering Webinar

As faculty prepare to accompany first-year students on their intellectual journey in Stag Country, all Class of 2022 students are expected to read several readings, answer one or more reflection questions, and attend one of the two remaining webinars offered on August 15 and 23. During the webinars, Professor Aaron Van Dyke, PhD, will engage students in topics and themes from the readings, in preparation for the First-Year Academic Gathering on September 4, 2018.

The First-Year Academic Gathering traditionally marks the start of the academic year in a coming together of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University community to welcome new students. Students who participate in the webinar will receive First-Year Experience (FYE) Inspire event credit.

Once registered, students should watch a video detailing instructions on how to download Quip and access the readings and reflections questions. Students are expected to engage in the readings and answer one or more reflection questions before the webinar.
