“Unlock Your Potential” Workshop Series Returns This Fall

Learn skills to manage change in the workplace at the first workshop on September 23.

The Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions (GSEAP) presents the “Unlock Your Potential” workshop series, which focus on skills to improve workplace performance, professional relationships, and help further career advancement. Free and open to the public, the workshop series is led by Paul Maloney, EdD, professor of the practice in Applied Psychology.

The series kicks off on Saturday, September 23, and will explore the topic of change management. This workshop is designed for managers and employees who want to understand change in the workplace and its impact on the organization.

“The program is designed for working professionals who want to develop a better understanding of the dynamics of organizational change, stress, and developing resilience,” said Dr. Maloney.

Dr. Maloney has consulted on organizational and human resources issues worldwide, and includes senior level positions in management and organization development at NBC, Mobil Oil Corporation, and PepsiCo International, among others. Over the last 20 years he has consulted with companies such as American Airlines, GE, Perrier, Rockville Bank, Kodak, and Schering-Plough, and has consulted at numerous international locations.

The series will continue with future workshops on October 28, 2017 March 31, 2018 and April 28, 2018, and will explore leadership styles, dealing with challenging people, and best practices for team development.
