¼â½ÐÊÓƵ is currently seeking alumni who are enthusiastic about the University’s future to join the newly launched Class Ambassador program . With over 40,000 alumni across the United States and abroad, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ is aiming to continue its commitment to keeping alumni connected and engaged through the Class Ambassador program.
The program will be comprised of alumni volunteers who will help build excitement, encourage participation, and create awareness about the need for philanthropic support for the University. Class Ambassadors' peer-to-peer outreach can have an enormous impact on class connectivity, event attendance, and giving participation. To ensure that the University and ambassadors are implementing strategies to maximize alumni engagement, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ staff will have face-to-face strategy sessions with Class Ambassadors in major cities.
“Leading schools, like ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, are built on strong alumni engagement,” explained R. Peter White, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s associate director of Reunion Giving and Class Ambassadors. “We hope that the Class Ambassador program will become a foundation of the alumni community. The average rate of alumni donors each year affects a university’s rankings and its ability to compete for the very best students and faculty. Class Ambassadors can significantly increase alumni connections, leading to higher alumni engagement and donor participation rates.”
¼â½ÐÊÓƵ encourages any alumnus with a willingness to reach out to classmates and help them reconnect with the University to join our Class Ambassador program. For more information, visit fairfield.edu/ambassador or email classambassador@fairfield.edu .
