¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University on New York Times and The Princeton Review Best-Of Lists

The New York Times named the University as a top institution doing the most to promote the American Dream, and The Princeton Review included ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ among the top 15% of schools in the country.

As part of its third annual ranking, the New York Times has placed ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University among the top schools in the country to help create “the American Dream.” The ranking - determined by the College Access Index - measures the economic diversity at the country’s top higher education institutions.

Additionally, the University has been named among the top 15% of all schools in the country as part of The Princeton Review’s annual “Best 382 Colleges.” ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ was included in the schools considered to have the “Best Quality of Life” and “Happiest Students.”

“Our Princeton Review editors have always had a high regard for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s academic offerings,” said the Princeton Review’s editor-in-Chief, Rob Franek. "Our respect for their undergraduate offerings has only grown over the years, but it’s particularly compelling to see ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ this year make our ranking lists for ‘Best Quality of Life’ and for ‘Happiest Students.’  That is a great tribute to ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s administrators and the appreciation its students have for their outside-the-classroom campus experiences from dorms and food to the beauty of the campus.”

Said Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Jennifer Anderson: “Being a part of both lists is indicative of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s commitment to strong academics, as well as the whole student experience. The campus is undergoing a transformation as part of the University’s Campus-Wide Master Plan, which will include new world-class academic facilities, as well as a new dining commons, a new upper-classman residence hall, and a recently renovated recreational complex, to name a few,” she said.
