Easy, New Workday Software to Replace Banner System

As part of the University’s ongoing strategic plan, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ is switching to Workday, a new software that will improve, streamline, and help organize faculty and staffs’ human resources and finance needs. It’s easier, more user friendly, and a welcome upgrade from previous technology.

Workday will replace our 20+ year-old Banner system and improve our business processes in these critical areas to help improve efficiency, accountability, and productivity, as a key part of the University’s ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ 2020 Strategic Plan.

Workday is designed with the user in mind, providing an easy-to-use system that aligns with the current best practices in HR, Payroll, and Financial Management. It allows all employees to manage their personal information — like benefits, expense reports, and time sheets — over a secure network anywhere and anytime.

Training for faculty and staff will begin in September 2017, with the full launch and implementation in January 2019. Be sure to keep an eye out for timeline updates and more news by visiting .
