Three Ways to Commemorate ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ's 75th
On St. Patrick’s Day, 1942, with the backdrop of World War II, Rev. John J. McEleney, S.J., and six fellow Jesuits met at St. Robert’s Hall Seminary in Pomfret, Conn. to create the articles of association for a new preparatory high school and college in ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ.
The spirit of those original founders continues to animate all that we do, and inspires in us the courage to move boldly forward, in the belief that we are fulfilling a profound mission to which we have been called as a learning community.
Share Your Story: What Does ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Mean to You?
The University is soliciting essays, poems, video or artwork about what ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ means to you spiritually, academically, socially and professionally. Six winning essays will be selected and winners will each receive a $250 award! Winners will be announced in May and prizes will be awarded at a special ceremony on May 1 in Bellarmine Hall.
