The ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ men’s and women’s soccer teams and Stags in the Stands will join forces this Saturday, September 19 as a part of the University’s 2015 Kick Out Cancer event. All proceeds from the day will benefit the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center.

The Stags will play a doubleheader on Lessing Field on Saturday. The women take the pitch first, hosting Niagara at 1 p.m., and looking to extend their winning streak to three matches. The contest is also ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s MAAC opener as the Stags look to continue their success in the conference.

The evening concludes with the first home match of 2015 for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ men’s soccer. The Stags welcome Fordham to Lessing Field at 7 p.m., carrying a 1-1-3 record and a two-match unbeaten streak.

In between contests, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ students will participate in the Kick Out Cancer 3 vs. 3 Soccer Tournament. The $5 entry fee for each participant will be donated to the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center, which is a part of nearby Bridgeport Hospital.

In addition, both the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ men’s and women’s soccer teams have adopted their own fundraising initiatives to benefit the Pfriem Center.
