Dolan Business Breakfast on Managing Millenials

The Dolan School of Business will sponsor a free business breakfast, Managing Millennials in the workplace, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Dolan School of Business Dining Room.

The event is designed to be an interactive seminar for company decision makers to discuss the key challenges and best practices of recruiting and managing Generation Y and Z
employees. Kevin McMahon '99, MBA, CEC, CPRW, executive coach and career advisor will address how to find the balance between traditional workplace practices and the changing needs of new workplace generations.

Topics to be explored include:

  • What should companies be thinking about when they consider recruiting from Generations Y and Z?
  • How do companies address the need for leadership as Baby Boomers exit the workplace and new generations enter?
  • What type of professional development, such as mentoring, training, and coaching, are most effective?

Panelists Lisa A. Mainiero, Ph.D., Professor of Management, Sarah Bollinger, Director of Dolan School Professional Development and Internships, and Julie Tuozzoli, Manager, Employer Relations and Alumni Career Development, will respond to McMahons keynote.

This event is free and open to the public, but you must reserve your space. To RSVP please contact Patricia Pivarnik or call (203) 254-4307 by September 3, 2015.
