Samantha Barry is a double major in finance and marketing. Next year, she will be attending graduate school at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ to pursue her master of business administration with concentrations in finance and analytics. During her time at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, she has been a part of numerous organizations, including the Alpha Mu Gamma, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Sigma Alpha Pi National Honor Societies, as well as the Ignatian Leadership Residential College. Outside of her academics, she has participated in Campus Ministry and been a part of various clubs and intramurals. She has served as a leader at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ through the Dolan Partner First-Year Peer Mentor Program, Women in Business Mentor Program, and as an Office of Accessibility Ambassador. Additionally, she has worked as a Notetaker and Student Library Assistant at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ and has had two internships: one at a nonprofit, Mustard Seed Communities, and one at KPMG. During her free time, she likes to exercise, play board games, do puzzles, play pickleball, and spend time outdoors.

Maria Betancur is a senior studying accounting and accounting information systems (AIS). She was born in Medellin, Colombia, and Maria’s family immigrated to the United States when she was five years old. Outside of academics, Maria is passionate about diversity, representation, and radical hospitality. As a New Student Leader, she has led First Year Experience classes with themes of Civic Engagement, and Social Justice & Activism. She currently serves on the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Student Association as the Director of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Board, which aims to establish programming and initiatives that foster a culture of inclusive excellence within the student body and local communities. Lastly, Maria works in the Office of Undergraduate Admission as a Diversity Intern and Senior Fellow where she works to make a private four-year education a possibility for students from underrepresented communities. Maria’s experiences at the Dolan School of Business has encouraged her to reach her full potential, and after graduating from ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, she will begin working at Ernst & Young’s Stamford, CT office within the audit sector.

Claire Brunner is a senior at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, where she is pursuing a degree in business analytics (BS) in the Dolan School of Business and a minor in Computer Science in the School of Engineering & Computing. In her studies, she is driven by an unwavering passion for education, a strong desire for meaningful personal connections, and an innate love of challenges. Her interest in analytics stems from her investigative mind and the possibilities of leveraging data to build stories and develop overarching solutions, as well as a strong attention to detail. She interned last summer at Charter Communications in Stamford, Connecticut on a diverse and analytics-driven team within Sales Operations. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she intends to pursue a master’s degree to deepen and expand her knowledge of business analytics, specifically with the application of data science models. Outside of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, she works a part-time job assisting the owner of a long-standing local artisan gelato business and enjoys volunteering with her family and following New York Rangers hockey.

Isabella is currently a junior management major and psychology and diversity, equity, and inclusion double minor with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. She has previously interned as Human Resources Generalist Intern with Northwell Health and People Development Student Associate with Madison Square Garden. She is a member of the Dolan Student Advisory Board, which works with the Dean's suite to plan student programming. She is also a member of the Women in Business club. Additionally, she works on campus as a supervisor and official for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ's Intramural sports program, primarily within the basketball program.

Emily Carra earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, in just three years, in May of 2023. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with the highest academic standing in the Economics department. Emily also earned a Spanish minor, and subsequently achieved full professional proficiency in the Spanish language. She is currently working towards the completion of her graduate degree from ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, a master of business administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration, this upcoming May (2024). After graduation, she is headed to Charlotte, NC, where she accepted a full-time offer in Bank of America’s illustrious Finance Management Program. Emily is also an entrepreneur, having founded her own freelance digital marketing agency, Epicenter Marketing Solutions, during her academic tenure here at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ. Epicenter currently supports one of the highest-producing real estate teams in Connecticut, as well as the largest direct-mail monthly publication in New England, and she is eager to continue on this growth trajectory. In addition to her studies, she maintains two graduate assistantship positions at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, serving the Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab and Dolan’s Undergraduate Programs Office. She would like to expressly thank her professors and her loving family for their support.

Ainsley is a member of the class of 2025 at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University and is pursuing majors in marketing and management with a minor in entrepreneurship. She is academically driven which is demonstrated through her recognition on the Dean’s List and her membership in the Magis Honors Program. Along with her academics, she is an active member in her community by being an elected class senator for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Student Association and has held a position on the executive board for the past two years as the Secretary of the Senate. Additionally, she was chosen for the Dolan Student Advisory Board. Her involvement within the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Undergraduate Admissions Office is also notable as she has been a Tour Ambassador since her first year and is the intern for their Shadow a Stag Program. Ainsley is also very passionate about dance, which has been her main extracurricular ever since she could walk. Here at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, Ainsley is a part of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Dance Ensemble performing in seven different styles and holds the title of Marketing Manager. She is also the Competition Coordinator for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Dance Fusion, the competitive dance team here on campus.

Nicole Farmer is from Westborough, Massachusetts. She is double majoring in marketing and management with an entrepreneurship concentration. She is beyond grateful to be one of the inaugural members of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Dolan 30 Under 30 Program. Her transformative journey within the Dolan School of Business has truly shaped her into the person she is today. Nominated as a Dolan International Scholar for the 2023-2024 year and being a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society, have given her the opportunity to express her passion for learning and embody the Jesuit values. She has been immersed in extracurricular activities such as being a Tour Ambassador, Dolan Student Advisory Board member, Kairos retreat leader, New Student Leader, campus ministry, and other enrichment activities. The dedicated faculty and staff at this university have not only facilitated her academic growth but also empowered her to surpass her own expectations. She is blessed for all the opportunities at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, which have made such a profound and lasting impact on her.

Lucy Fowler is a junior finance major and philosophy minor. She lives outside Syracuse, New York, and is the middle child of three girls. If she is not doing business-related work, she enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. She is an active member of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Women’s Varsity Golf team and involved in multiple clubs and activities in Dolan. She is the Portfolio Manager for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Investment Group healthcare sector, a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Chief Financial Officer of Financially, and the fifth-ranked trader at Rotman International Trading Competition. Last summer, she worked at Bank of Montreal in sales and trading, and this summer she will be working at Nomura in Corporate Finance. She is happy to have been given the honor of receiving ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Dolan 30 Under 30 Award. She would like to recognize her mom and dad for the endless support and love they have given to her in her journey at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University. Without them, she would not be where she is today. She is looking forward to the different opportunities 30 Under 30 will provide for her and excited to see what the future holds.

Glenn Heller II, Associate Portfolio Manager, joined Resolution Life US in March 2023 where he is part of their Investment Management team. Prior to joining Resolution Life US, Glenn worked at Neuberger Berman where he helped grow firm AUM on their product strategy team. Glenn started off his career at Conning Asset Management where he held multiple positions on their Investment Operations and Performance teams and worked his way up to become an Assistant Vice President on the Portfolio Management team where he focused on their High Dividend Equity strategies. Glenn has successfully earned a BS in finance and a minor in accounting from Marist College. He also obtained an MBA with a dual concentration in finance and real estate and obtained a graduate certificate in digital marketing strategies from the University of Connecticut. Glenn has also earned a graduate certificate in genetics and genomics from the University of Connecticut. Currently, Glenn is attending ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University where he is pursuing an executive doctorate in business administration (DBA) focusing on how new technologies, such as CRISPR, will impact the insurance industry.

Evan Keiser stands out as a distinguished senior at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, pursuing a major in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Economics. His commitment to the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ community extends beyond the classroom into Division-I Athletics, where he is a dedicated member of the Men’s Lacrosse team, which he joined as a walk-on during his sophomore year. He holds esteemed positions as a member of the Dolan Student Advisory Board, an employee in the Office of Conference and Events, and a fellow in the Center for Social Impact.

Evan's leadership prowess shines as the President of the Finance Club, where he leads student-run analyst programs and orchestrates major networking events aimed at enhancing professional exposure and career skills for ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Dolan students. Through the Center for Social Impact, Evan founded the Wine to Water Filter Building Initiative, highlighting his commitment to global humanitarian efforts. Over four years, he successfully raised $18,000 for water filters allocated to impoverished communities around the world.

Professionally, Evan has demonstrated his acumen through an internship at BDO USA in New York, where he focused on ESG and sustainability. His tasks included executing a comprehensive supplier maturity audit and creating an ESG targeting research tool. Upon graduation from ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ this May, Evan is set to continue his professional path at BDO USA in Manhattan, marking the next step in his promising career.

Allie Kirby is a senior at the Dolan School of Business and is pursuing a bachelor of science in marketing with a minor in sports leadership & management. Throughout her college journey, she has exemplified a passion for community involvement, academic growth, and sports.

During her internship at Yahoo! from May to September 2023, Allie contributed to global events and marketing in the New York City Metropolitan Area. She also served as a Social Media Manager at Connecticut Rush Soccer and New York Surf Soccer, blending her marketing skills with her love for sports. Additionally, she interned at NCAA for the Women's Sweet Sixteen March Madness and Men's D1 Lacrosse Championship, as well as with US Club Soccer as a media and event intern during her sophomore year.

Her commitment extends to her four-year dedication to the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ women's soccer team, demonstrating her balance between academics and athletics. This summer, Allie will join Intuit's business development team. Looking ahead, she plans to return for a fifth year of soccer on campus while pursuing her master of business administration (MBA) at the Dolan School of Business. With expertise in marketing, leadership, and event management, Allie looks forward to making a significant impact at the intersection of sports and marketing as she nears graduation.

Lilly Lashar is a senior finance major and marketing minor from Hingham, Massachusetts. Reflecting on her four years at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, she found that her relationships and the people she surrounded herself with are the most important things to her. While she considered herself a self-efficient leader, she thrives and grows when surrounded by individuals who encourage her growth. She is very passionate about being the best person, friend, student, sister, daughter, and employee by expressing her sincere empathy and loyalty. As a Type One Diabetic and co-founder of The Lillylulu Foundation, she is very passionate about finding a cure for this disease and advocating for those who do not have the same medical care that she does. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does whether it is work, academics, and taking care of herself, which is a constant. She has faced and overcome great challenges in her life with T1D and the core of what she has learned is to make her disease a positive impact on herself and on others which will allows her to be a great teammate and very successful at what she does. Upon graduation, she will be working for AEW Capital Management as a Commercial Real Estate Asset Management Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts.

Throughout Emily Mager’s years at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, she immersed herself in a transformative journey marked by learning, community outreach, leadership, and impactful contributions. Graduating early and pursuing an MBA in marketing deepened her appreciation for education's transformative power.

Community engagement and social responsibility are integral to her values. Active participation in the Milford Irish Club and volunteering demonstrated her dedication to serving diverse groups. Using her passion for music, she brought solace to isolated individuals in long-term care facilities through Connecticut's Coalition to Improve End of Life Care during COVID-19.

The most rewarding aspect of her journey is the commitment to nurturing and caring for others. Through musical performances, she raised over $3,000 for charitable causes, aiming to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities facing challenges.

Leadership and academic achievements seamlessly translated into her professional role as a graduate assistant at the Dolan Career and Development Center, where she mentored fellow students, witnessing their growth and success.

Being part of Dolan’s 30 Under 30 program is not just an honor, it is a celebration of shared values and contributions, and she aspires to continue inspiring positive change. Go Stags!

Zachary Maloy is a finance major, with a minor in business analytics. He is also a Bellarmine scholar and is in the honors program. He has earned a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his time at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, earning Dean’s List every semester. He is a member of the D1 men’s golf team where he earned all-academic MAAC athlete.

With regard to extracurriculars, Zack is the Director of Private Equity for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ

Investment Banking Society. He provides insight into investment banking and private equity and writes bi-weekly market updates on economy and financial markets. Additionally, Zack is a financial analyst for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Student Managed Investment Fund. He assists in managing a $400,000 real-money portfolio to generate high and consistent returns. This past summer, Zack interned at CBRE, conducting advisory and transaction services in the commercial real estate industry. He supported deals by sourcing leads, reviewing leases, conducting market research, creating presentations, and completing valuation projects. He won the 2023 Intern Pitch Competition at CBRE by presenting comprehensive real estate solutions to prospective clients.

Next summer, Zack has accepted an offer as a summer investment banking analyst at Ziegler, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in their Bethesda office.

Morgan Mancini is a graduating senior in the Dolan School of Business studying accounting and finance. While maintaining a double major, Morgan’s extracurricular activities at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ include Accounting Club, Beta Alpha Psi, and VP of Women in Business. As she absolutely loved her time at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, Morgan has decided to continue her education in order to complete her master of science in accounting with the university. She is elated to remain a Stag! One of Morgan’s passions outside of academics is to advocate for the autism community in support of her sister, Gillian. In 2017, Morgan and her family began an annual walk to raise money for Autism Services and Resources CT, a local nonprofit that helps better the lives of those living with autism. To date, they have raised over $93,000 for the organization. Morgan has held intern level roles at Hammond Iles Wealth Advisors in Wethersfield, CT as a Client Care Specialist and at PwC in Hartford, CT as an Audit Intern. Morgan is excited to join PwC full time upon completion of her MSA in 2025. She is honored to have been chosen for the inaugural Dolan’s 30 Under 30 List!

Andrew Martin is a junior at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University studying finance and business analytics in the Dolan School of Business. 

One of his most prominent roles is the President of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF). SMIF is an organization of the top 40 business students in Dolan that actively invests approximately $400,000 of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s Endowment Fund. While generating profits is a primary aspect of SMIF, he understands the significance of giving back to the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ community. This includes holding events for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Preparatory High School Investing Club, establishing a Women’s Insights Program for young female leaders, and starting The Bellarmine Initiative, a cross-collaborative effort to form a bond with business students from the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Bellarmine Campus.

This summer, he will be interning at Bank of America in the Debt Capital Markets group under Sean Timmeny (‘01). Currently, he is interning part-time at UBS, and last summer, he interned at Franklin Templeton for Colleen Tycz (‘04 / MBA ’11). Andrew is also involved with various other aspects of the community, ranging from the Club Basketball Treasurer to a Resident Assistant (RA).

Whitney McVeagh is a current junior studying finance in the Dolan School of Business with minors in mathematics and actuarial sciences. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and is currently spending her spring semester studying abroad in Barcelona at IQS School of Management to further her business education. At ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, Whitney is involved in many on-campus organizations including Women in Business where she serves as the club’s secretary as well as the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Career Center where she assists as a career peer advisor. Additionally, during the fall semester, Whitney was involved with the Office of Residence Life as a resident assistant for upperclassmen living in the townhouses. Outside of school, Whitney enjoys working with children and has spent time at elementary and middle schools local to the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ area tutoring in mathematics. Whitney is extremely appreciative for the professors and mentors that have impacted her during her time at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ as she would not be receiving such an honor without them. She is incredibly grateful to be a part of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Dolan’s 30 Under 30 and looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.

Paige Meader is a junior Accounting and Business Analytics student with a minor in Accounting Analytics at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University’s Dolan School of Business. She is involved on campus as the Director of Treasury for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Student Association where she helps to reconcile the budget while also providing opportunities for students to apply their business education outside of the classroom. She is also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society, and Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society where she will be the Vice President for the 2024-2025 school year. Additionally, Paige helps encourage peers to volunteer as a member of Campus Ministry’s Service Leadership Council and helps first-year students adapt to college as a peer mentor to business students through the Dolan Partners Program and honors students as an Honors Peer Mentor. Paige is originally from Belgrade, Maine where she enjoys spending summers outdoors with her family. In her free time, she enjoys being active, reading, and spending time with her friends.

Caitlin Murphy, a driven and accomplished individual from Queens, NY, embodies academic excellence and dedication to service every day. Graduating from ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics, she holds an impressive GPA, earning recognition as a Magis Scholar and consistent placement on the Dean’s List. 

Caitlin's professional journey shows her diverse talents and steadfast leadership. At ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, she serves as a Senior Admission Fellow, guiding high school students through the college application process and contributing greatly to the admissions team. Her dedication to student success extends further, as she serves as an Economics Tutor and the Admissions Weekend Visit Coordinator. Beyond ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, she earned a coveted internship at EY, where she assisted in the audit of an employee benefits plan. Her leadership roles, including President of Beta Alpha Psi and Co-President of the Economics Club, underscore her ability to inspire and mobilize teams toward shared goals. 

With a track record of academic distinction, exemplary leadership, and a passion for service, Caitlin is poised to make significant contributions in the realms of accounting, economics, and beyond.

Cian O'Donnell, a proud first-generation university student and Irish native, currently pursues his master of business analytics degree in the Dolan School of Business. He graduated with first class honors in International Business from the University of Limerick, where his passion for organizational behavior and finance led him to conduct independent research projects.

Recognized for his academic, personal, and professional achievements, Cian was awarded the Conlisk Irish Scholarship in 2023, enabling him to pursue higher education in the United States. At Accenture Ireland, he worked as a Management Consultant Analyst gaining experience in the Human Capital and Banking sectors. His contributions were acknowledged when he received the FY23 Newcomer of the Year award at the annual Accenture analyst awards. 

Currently, Cian is developing his technical skillset as an Analytics Intern at Synchrony Financial, utilizing his analytical skills to drive insights and strategic decision-making. As a leader, Cian founded and served as the first President of the Consulting & Entrepreneurship Society at his alma mater. His entrepreneurial spirit continues to shine through his participation in ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ StartUp, where he is competing in the 2024 Showcase. Recently, Cian participated in the Silicon Valley Immersion program, immersing himself in the vibrant tech ecosystem and networking with industry leaders.

He attributes his success to the unwavering work ethic instilled by his parents, particularly his resilient mother and late father, who tirelessly supported his educational pursuits. As he continues to excel, Cian remains grateful for the opportunities he's been given and is dedicated to paying it forward.

As a dedicated double major in finance and business analytics, Christian has always been passionate about leveraging analytical skills and financial acumen to drive impactful decisions. His professional experience was further enriched this past year working at Aflac Global Investments, specifically within the Structured Private Credit Team. There, he honed his skills in financial modeling, project management, and data analysis. This experience not only deepened his understanding of the financial sector but also kindled his interest in the possibilities within the alternative investment sphere. As Christian continues his journey, he remains enthusiastic about uncovering new prospects in alternative investments—a field where he believes there is considerable room for innovation and meaningful impact.

Christian has now started his own company, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Founders, serving as the Executive Director. ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Founders' mission is to unify the strength of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ community with the ingenuity of its entrepreneurs. By cultivating a collaborative environment, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Founders empowers alumni and community members to work together in support of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ startups. Together, the community share their talents and skills, not only to support successful businesses but also to serve and uplift others. He believes in the power of community-engaged entrepreneurship to build bridges, forge lasting relationships, and create solutions that reflect their collective commitment to the greater good.

Embarking on a transformative journey at the Dolan School of Business has been a testament to his unwavering commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. As an honors student with a double major in accounting and economics, he has proudly been selected to the Dean’s List for all semesters during his time in undergraduate academia, which has included an unparalleled year of learning at the London School of Economics during his junior year. Atop great academic success during his time as a student at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, he has also achieved prodigious professional success, becoming the first ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ student in five years to receive a return offer from Blackstone’s summer analyst program. Beyond personal success, his social involvement as Co-President of the Economics Club, Co-Founder and former Vice President of the Sports Analytics Club, Blackstone Campus Ambassador, and a member of the Dolan Student Advisory Board underscore his commitment to the collective excellence of the Dolan School of Business. Recognized as one of the inaugural 30 best undergraduate and graduate students, this honor is not merely a personal achievement but a celebration of the symbiotic relationship between his individual success and the advancement of the entire Dolan community.

Isabella is 23 years old and from Bedford, New Hampshire. When she came to ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ in 2019, she had both a passion for humanities and an interest in business. Throughout her time at the University, she has worked tirelessly to leave her mark on both of these disciplines, as well as blend them together in engaging and valuable ways. She is currently an MBA student with concentrations in analytics and management at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, having completed her bachelor’s in international business and analytics, with a minor in anthropology, in May of 2023. During her undergraduate years, Isabella has been recognized for her work in the international business department by being awarded the 2023 Library Research Prize, being inducted into Sigma Iota Rho, the International Studies Honor Society, and for being Editor in Chief of the Undergraduate Journal of Global Citizenship, a student-run journal. For these achievements, Isabella was nominated to apply for the Fulbright Scholarship upon completion of her master’s degree. As a postgraduate student, she continues to uphold the Jesuit values of mind, body, and spirit, serving on the Graduate Student Advisory Board and as a Cura Personalis Mentor, while balancing multiple jobs and internships.

Kerianne Rodrigues is a graduating senior with marketing and economics majors with a psychology minor, and she is a member of the honors program. Keri will have completed six marketing internships at the conclusion of her time at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, with a seventh summer internship opportunity to follow. She is currently a returning dermatology marketing intern at Boehringer Ingelheim where she raises disease and product awareness for an ultra-rare skin condition while learning to work within the guidelines of this highly-regulated industry. She has experience working at non-profit organizations, small companies, agencies, and global industry leaders which she credits to her determination to learn. At ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, Keri is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University Student Association where she hosts weekly meetings, approves content, and manages 26 board members to advertise campus-wide activities for 4,962 undergraduate students. She is also a Dolan Mentor to freshmen, a member of the Women in Business Club, and plays on the club tennis team in her free time. Keri would describe herself as creative, reliable, and dedicated. She is excited to see what the future holds and is grateful for the friendships she has made at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ.

Abigail Snider is a senior graduating in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business analytics, accompanied by a minor in accounting information systems. Following graduation, she is pursuing a master of science in accounting while preparing to sit for the CPA exam. In fall 2025, she will begin her career at PwC as an Audit Associate! She is deeply committed to lifelong learning and to helping others. Currently, she holds the role of Service Coordinator at Beta Alpha Psi, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University’s esteemed accounting honor society. In this capacity, she facilitates impactful community service events, creating opportunities for club members to make meaningful contributions, which has truly been a rewarding aspect of her experience at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, bringing her both joy and fulfillment. As she navigates her future endeavors and is eager for what's on the horizon, she is committed to upholding the values that have propelled her to this point, including hard work, kindness, and unwavering dedication. She is profoundly grateful for the support and guidance she has received along this journey and is honored to be part of the 30 under 30 program.

Dean Tobin is a senior at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University from Nanuet, NY.  He is currently majoring in finance and minoring in business analytics and economics. He has gained crucial experience through his internships at Franklin Templeton and Goldman Sachs. He has also gained key leadership experience through being president of ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ's Student Managed Investment Fund, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ's delegate at the London School of Economics Alternatives Investments Conference, a member of the Dolan School Advisory Board, a mentor of the Dolan Partners Program, a team trader on the Rotman International Trading Competition (2023), an analyst in the College Federal Reserve Challenge (2023-2024), a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, amongst many other roles where he has had a significant impact. Dean is a former high school hockey player who is passionate about his favorite sports team, the New Jersey Devils, and living a healthy and fit lifestyle.  Dean is also extremely passionate about helping others grow and achieve their full potential through what it is that they love to do. Dean is so thankful to his family, friends, and ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ community for all they've done for him.

In terms of academic professional development, she has always maintained her passion and commitment to academics. She studied at one of the top business schools in the country and achieved excellent grades. In her academic research, she has actively participated and presented a number of international conference papers, which is a testament to the depth of her thinking and exploration in her area of specialization. In addition, she has won academic awards on campus, which is a reflection of her positive contribution to the field of business. In graduate school, her GPA is currently at 3.82, with A+ in Fundamentals of Analytics, Corporate Finance, and Investment Analysis. After graduating from undergraduate school, she has been working as an auditor in a Big 4 accounting firm, Ernst & Young, for five years now, in which she was mainly responsible for internationally renowned projects such as PVH China, Porsche, etc. She has excellent organizational and coordination skills, and she received a perfect score in the 2022 National Audit Quality Review Inspection. Extensive experience in annual audit projects in several industries, such as automotive, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. In terms of community involvement and social responsibility, she is actively involved in various community service activities. She was a leader of the Business School Volunteer Association, planning and organizing a number of charity events to help local underprivileged groups. Meanwhile, she has also participated in international volunteer programs to help the disadvantaged overseas. These experiences have not only taught her the importance of social responsibility but also taught her how to apply what she has learned in practice. 

Emma Wentland is a senior at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University, double-majoring in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. On campus, she is the President of Women in Business, a Portfolio Manager for the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Investment Group, and a Dolan Dean’s Student Advisory Board member. She has completed two summer internships at UBS’ Investment Bank, specifically within the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors Group and the Private Financing Markets Group. Upon graduation in May 2024, she will join Moody’s Investor Service in New York City as a Ratings Associate within the Structured Finance Group.

Guoyu Yang currently works at Altair, where they specialize in providing data analysis and AI solutions for enterprise users. With a strong background in both data analytics and artificial intelligence, Guoyu Yanghas proven their expertise in delivering insightful and impactful solutions that have significantly benefited Altair's clientele. Their proficiency in this domain is complemented by their commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the industry.

Giovanni Young ’25 is a junior majoring in accounting, economics, and management, with a concentration in entrepreneurship. He also has minors in classical studies, philosophy, and DEI.

This year, he has served as chair of the Academic Affairs committee of FUSA Senate. Through this role, he also sits alongside faculty and university administrators on Academic Council. Last year, he served as the student representative on Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. This allowed him to review, debate, and vote on proposed majors and minors with faculty.

Giovanni serves as co-chair of Peer Conduct Board, through which he mentors students performs preliminary reviews of disciplinary cases for the Office of the Dean of Students.

For the past two years, he has taught a First Year Experience course as a New Student Leader, which has allowed him to mentor incoming students.

As Junior Class Representative of Alpha Sigma Nu, he participates in the honors society’s ongoing expansion of its presence and reach on campus. He also chaired the Honorary Nominee Committee.

This summer, Giovanni will complete an internship with Ernst & Young's assurance practice. He currently works as a campus ambassador, connecting with prospective applicants at career fairs and discussing the application process alongside regional recruiters.
