Giovanni Young ’25 is a junior majoring in accounting, economics, and management, with a concentration in entrepreneurship. He also has minors in classical studies, philosophy, and DEI.
This year, he has served as chair of the Academic Affairs committee of FUSA Senate. Through this role, he also sits alongside faculty and university administrators on Academic Council. Last year, he served as the student representative on Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. This allowed him to review, debate, and vote on proposed majors and minors with faculty.
Giovanni serves as co-chair of Peer Conduct Board, through which he mentors students performs preliminary reviews of disciplinary cases for the Office of the Dean of Students.
For the past two years, he has taught a First Year Experience course as a New Student Leader, which has allowed him to mentor incoming students.
As Junior Class Representative of Alpha Sigma Nu, he participates in the honors society’s ongoing expansion of its presence and reach on campus. He also chaired the Honorary Nominee Committee.
This summer, Giovanni will complete an internship with Ernst & Young's assurance practice. He currently works as a campus ambassador, connecting with prospective applicants at career fairs and discussing the application process alongside regional recruiters.
