On April 12 at Cipriani 42nd Street, this year’s ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner will honor Andrew J. McMahon for his exemplary professional achievements.
¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University will honor Andrew J. McMahon ’89, P’19,’13, chief executive officer and president of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian), with the Alumni Professional Achievement Award during this year’s ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 12 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
McMahon leads more than 9,000 colleagues in service of 29 million members. Under his leadership, Guardian is building on a 160-year-old tradition of putting the needs of consumers first while finding new ways to help them achieve physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
A computer science major, McMahon served as a ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Board of Trustees member for 12 years and continues serving as a member of the Investment subcommittee. Read more about his professional achievements and commitment to ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University.
Since 1988, the annual ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Awards Dinner has raised more than $20 million for the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship Fund and other scholarships, while celebrating the achievements and volunteer service of distinguished members of the ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ community.
