First-Year Personal Librarian Program
Overview
All first-year students and new transfer students are automatically assigned a Personal Librarian based on their First Year Experience (FYE) section. The goal of the Personal Librarian Program is to introduce students to the collections and services of the DiMenna-Nyselius Library; a Personal Librarian serves as a “go-to” person for all things library-related and can even help with things that aren’t library-specific. Librarians are familiar with many of the services on campus and can help refer students to support needed.
Personal Librarians will contact students via email approximately once per month throughout their first year at ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ University with research tips, library news and events, and more. Students can email or call their Librarian to ask a question or schedule a research appointment.
