Diversity Equity & Inclusion

Degree

Minor

4 students walk together on campus in the fall.

The goal of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) minor is to provide students with the economics and social justice knowledge to work effectively in any organization in pursuit of DEI goals.

What You'll Learn and Do

Open to all majors and minors

Available to all students regardless of their major, the minor in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was designed for students who are passionate about social justice. Students take electives from the College of Arts and Sciences to gain context and skills related to diverse experiences, culminating in a capstone course on workplace diversity.

Take a personal approach to student-faculty relationships

Our faculty takes a personal interest in developing our students’ next steps upon graduation. The capstone course, "Diversity in the Workplace," will provide students with the opportunity to integrate the content and context they have learned into their understanding of modern business and economic decision-making.
